The image of the Triplet in the Dragon is the first image obtained with the DSO, the observatory remotizzzato, under the Tuscan sky

The observatory is made synchronous opening of the roof, through the transmission shaft. The opening is made with GSM. I use the mount eq6, that with the free EQMOD can accomplish pretty much everything that you need. For simplicity I use the programmable multiple sockets, with which I manage the shutdowns in the event of interruption of the Internet. The use of these sockets and low cost, but very useful and avoids having to carry out complicated and expensive cards.
I have also realized the optic cover, by means of a stepping motor and a card controlled by USB. The expense to achieve the observatory and the cost of the RC GSO put together, it is lower than a common optical tubes 10 inch medium price.
